General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) is seeking a professional to plan, design, and construct manufacturing facilities and related structures. The role involves determining facility specifications, analyzing location, resources, and structural design, and resolving technical problems to drive production improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience.
• Engineering degree required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsabilités

• Develops, evaluates, and improves industrial manufacturing methods using knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment.
• Analyzes and plans workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow; designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
• Determines parts, equipment, tools, and processes needed to meet specifications.
• Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs for management decisions.
• Communicates manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processes.
• Collaborates with vendors to determine specifications and arrange equipment, material purchases, and parts.
• Evaluates products based on specifications and quality standards.
