Job summary

Redbock - an NES Fircroft company in Boulder, CO, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer II on a 12-month contract. You will support the PMO operations engineering team, drive projects and capital initiatives, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory policies for lifesaving medical devices.

You will apply manufacturing expertise to drive projects to completion, collaborate with R&D, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain, and manage budgets, schedules, and cost savings initiatives across the

Qualifications

Project coordination experience in manufacturing settings.
Manufacturing engineering in regulated environments; medical device experience preferred.
Strong financial and business acumen.

Responsibilities

Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout.
Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
Inspects performance of machinery and implements corrective actions to ensure product quality.
Lead cross-functional teams on engineering and capital projects to launch artwork and labeling and drive improvements.
