Job summary

CAIRE in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II MGC to drive development, production readiness, and process improvements for medical diagnostic instruments. You will work with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and suppliers to resolve complex issues in sensors, electronics, and test systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 3+ years of experience, including regulated environments; Lean Six Sigma and DOE experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years engineering experience, in a regulated environment preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing systems involving sensors, electronics, or production test.

Responsibilities

• Transition products from design to production with manufacturing processes and work instructions.
• Plan pre-release and pilot builds to evaluate manufacturability and production readiness.
• Develop fixtures, tooling, equipment, and test methods.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve issues and improve capacity and process capability.
