Modine Manufacturing Company in Minnesota is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, characterize, and improve complex manufacturing processes. You will own work instructions and train personnel, acting as a liaison between Manufacturing and Product Development throughout all phases. The role requires a B.S.

in Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing, and Lean/Six Sigma experience. You will support cost reductions, design for manufacturability, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

B.S.M.E. or related BS with IE/ Manufacturing focus; masters desirable.
Minimum of three years related experience required.
Strong training in Lean, 5S, Constraint Theory Management, Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed Work Instructions for manufacturing processes and product assembly.
Train personnel on the use of Work Instructions.
Provide highest-level technical support to Manufacturing operations and liaise with Engineering & Product Development.
Assist in design for manufacturability during product development projects.
Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities with cross-functional teams.
