Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Simi Valley, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive lean process improvements in a precision aerospace machining environment. The role will focus on reducing scrap, leading NPI and product reactivation, and developing fixture designs and process plans.

You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to deliver robust, documented manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate has a BS in a relevant engineering field, 5 years in aerospace machining, familiarity with

Qualifications

• BS degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering
• 5 years experience in aerospace precision machining
• Experience with Solidworks and NAV
• Knowledge of AS9100 quality management systems
• Fixture design for CNC components
• Root cause and permanent corrective action skills
• Strong leadership and communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Reduce scrap and non-conformances through RCCA and improved process control
• Develop processes and planning for New Product Launch and Existing Product Reactivation
• Recommend and implement new equipment and process planning
• Develop and modify manufacturing processes including drawings, fixtures, and inspection
• Participate in LEAN initiatives and apply Six Sigma tools
• Interface with suppliers and internal customers effectively
• Ensure manufacturing engineering data is complete and well documented to meet customer requirements
