Job summary

MPG is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to analyze quality, delivery, and productivity data for RF electro-mechanical products. You will design tooling, create standard work, and lead improvements to reliability and lead times in Ventura, CA.

Cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality Assurance and Sales will be key to reflecting accurate specifications in drawings and work instructions. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering and 3–5 years of

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing process development or improvement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Familiarity with ISO/AS quality management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze quality, delivery, and productivity data to identify actions to improve reliability and lead time.
  • Develop tooling designs and fixtures; establish standard work documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs reflect specifications in drawings and work instructions.
  • Lead or support special projects such as new work cell design and new product launches.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives including Kaizen and Lean 6Sigma activities.
