Job summary

Woodward in Spartanburg, SC, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to join our cross-functional team responsible for design and industrialization of automated manufacturing processes.

You will lead continuous improvement, own process definitions, implement automation, and collaborate with Product Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to meet performance and regulatory standards. Bachelor’s in engineering or equivalent experience required; prior aerospace/manufacturing exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with automation and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of APQP tools (PPAP, PFMEA, MSA) and process validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional team to drive design, automation and high-performance manufacturing objectives.
• Own manufacturing processes for assigned areas, ensuring workflow accuracy.
• Identify and resolve technical/operational issues with root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with other departments to align engineering initiatives with business goals.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and work instructions.
