Job summary

Woodward is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to join our Spartanburg, SC team. You will lead a cross-functional group, develop and maintain manufacturing processes, and drive improvements in automation and process efficiency.

A strong background in design for manufacturability and APQP tools is essential. You will work with Product Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to ensure production readiness, surgical process control, and reliable operations while complying with aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 8+ years equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of aerospace quality, regulatory, customer and internal requirements.
• Experience with APQP tools (PPAP, PFMEA, MSA) and process capability metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional team of technicians and engineers to achieve objectives.
• Own and improve manufacturing processes for assigned areas.
• Identify and solve manufacturing/automation problems using structured methods.
• Collaborate with other departments to align engineering with business goals.
