The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, SolidWorks experience, and ability to travel domestically and internationally. Proficiency in MS Office is essential for reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree inMechanical Engineering with manufacturing/engineering exposure.
• SolidWorks experience demonstrated.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel internationally and domestically.

Responsibilities

• Develop mass-production engineering parameters (production, quality) for new business.
• Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods.
• Provide ongoing technical support to production and maintenance to ensure effective use of equipment and tooling.
• Develop and implement countermeasures for claims, IPD's, and downtime.
• Negotiate with vendors to determine product specs and arrange purchases of equipment, materials and parts.
• Investigate and coordinate Kaizen activities.
• Collaborate with management and staff on machine capabilities, schedules and cost considerations.
• Develop equipment required to produce/assemble precise molded parts and guarantee quality.
