Job summary

Gems Setra, part of the Ralliant portfolio, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to support production with process improvements, tooling, fixtures, and automation. You will participate in new product launches and apply lean practices to meet SQDC targets while collaborating with design, quality, and operations teams.

Responsibilities include resolving production issues, documenting processes, and training associates on new methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related role.
• Experience with SolidWorks or Pro/E modeling and drafting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and document manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, automation, and test equipment.
• Develop poka-yoke and fixturing strategies to reduce process variation.
• Investigate process and product failures and implement corrective actions using root-cause analysis.
