Manufacturing Engineers develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying products and manufacturing methods. They analyze product specifications to determine appropriate designs and processes that support these customer requirements. You would apply your skills to develop, test, modify, and create solutions through a collaborative effort with various teams. As a Manufacturing Engineer with our Raytheon team, you’ll apply your skills to help to develop, test, modify and create solutions through a collaborative effort with our stakeholders.

You Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering must be obtained by start date.
  • Experience with interpretation of technical documentation
  • Experience with project execution
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
We Prefer
  • Knowledge of Technical drawing interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Demonstrated hands‑on mechanical aptitude with the ability to work across disciplines and an innovative mindset that drives continuous improvement and keeps pace with advances in technology
  • Ability to work in a team environment with solid organizational skills and the ability multi‑task
  • Proven written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Project, Word)

Location and Work Arrangement

This position is located at the Raytheon Diné Facility in Farmington, NM. RTX‑Diné Facility adheres to the Navajo Nation Preference in Employment Act in areas of recruitment and hiring practices. As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in‑person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on‑site, hybrid or remote.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted. However, factors such as candidate flow and business necessity may require RTX to shorten or extend the application window.
