Sonova USA, Inc. in Valencia, CA is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer I to support our manufacturing operations. You will help ensure quality and safety of processes while supporting yield improvements, product dispositions, assembly procedures, and validations.

You will work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, NPI, and R&D teams. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least 1 year in manufacturing engineering, with strong analytical skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical device regulatory expectations (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve manufacturing processes, workflows and yields.
• Execute FMEA validations and prepare technical reports.
• Troubleshoot production processes and equipment.
• Perform root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Support Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement.
• Develop tooling, fixtures and process automation.
• Conduct time studies to assess production capacity.
• Provide DFM feedback to design teams.
• Train production staff on updated procedures.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Evaluate proposals with cost-benefit analysis.
