Sonova is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to support our manufacturing operations in Valencia, CA onsite. You will help ensure quality and safety of processes while supporting yield improvements, product dispositions, and validations.

Responsibilities

• Support Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives.

• Provide DFM feedback to product design teams.

• Support internal and external audits.
• Evaluate new proposals with cost-benefit analysis and implementation planning.

In this role, you will help ensure the quality and safety of manufacturing processes while supporting yield improvements, product dispositions, assembly procedures, and process and equipment validations. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams including Manufacturing, NPI, and R&D.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and yields
• Execute risk-based/FMEA process validations and prepare technical reports
• Troubleshoot production processes and equipment
• Perform root-cause analysis and support corrective and preventive actions
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma approaches
• Develop tooling, fixtures, and process automation
• Complete time studies to help determine production capacity
• Provide DFM feedback to product design teams

This role's pay range is between: $79,200 – $99,000 annually. This role is also commission eligible/bonus eligible.
