Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO, a global leader in precision instruments, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to implement and maintain processes that support line efficiency, material flow, and lean principles on the shop floor.

You will collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to support new product launches and ongoing line projects, perform time studies, optimize layouts, conduct root cause analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field is preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
• Manufacturing process improvement experience.
• Knowledge of lean principles and kanban.
• Experience in AutoCAD or similar program.

Responsibilities

• Implementing and maintaining manufacturing processes to support line efficiency and material flow.
• Support new product launches and ongoing line projects with Operations and Supply Chain teams.
• Troubleshoot production line issues and support audits.
• Conduct time studies and manage rework projects.
• Optimize work center layouts and material flow.
• Perform root cause analysis and maintain quality notifications.
