Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year experience with Lean manufacturing, time study, value stream mapping, and facilitating kaizen events.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD required; Lean Principles; Six Sigma knowledge a plus; Simulation modeling a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and applying new processes and equipment for manufacturing and assembly.
• Serve as a communication liaison between manufacturing departments and other areas to analyze and solve manufacturing problems.
• Coordinate lean manufacturing and lean office improvement activities; teach lean principles; create value stream maps; facilitate kaizen events.
• Partner with Design Engineering on new product development and coordinate testing or device builds; support quality improvements.
