Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design and optimize layouts for machining, composite layup, and assembly processes. You will adapt equipment plans to production needs and define operation sequences that maximize efficiency and quality.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in engineering, with aerospace manufacturing experience and strong knowledge of DMAIC/DFSS, PFMEA, SPC, and DOE.

Qualifications

• BS in designated Engineering or related field or equivalent years of experience.
• Experience with manufacturing engineering in composite or aerospace environments preferred.
• Familiarity with quality and manufacturing process tools (DMAIC/DFSS, SPC, PFMEA, DOE).

Responsibilities

• Plans layout for machining and assembly activities.
• Adapts machine/equipment design to production conditions.
• Plans sequence of operations and fabrication procedures.
• Provides technical solutions to difficult problems.
• Represents the organization in addressing technical issues on projects.
