Job Description
Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) designs, develops, and manufactures advanced composite components to help our customers push the frontiers of innovation. Our core strength is producing highly tailored, complex composite components, including 3D woven structures, traditional and non-traditional 2D composite structures, and discrete through-thickness reinforcement technologies. AEC's products meet performance and cost specifications often beyond metallic or conventional laminated composites.
Our expertise is utilized in many commercial platforms such as Boeing’s 7-series, Airbus A380, Sikorsky S-76 helicopter, and defense programs including the F-35 Lightning II, CH-53K Helicopter, and JASSM missile. The Manufacturing Engineer will implement and maintain well-defined, documented, and controlled manufacturing processes related to finishing and assembly of aircraft structures from advanced composite materials. The role involves collaboration with operations, quality, and tooling to optimize processes and solve problems.
Day shift, Thursday - Sunday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
BS/BA in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent (AE/CE/IE).
