Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve plant operations. You will analyze current processes, drive capacity improvements, and lead projects from justification through start-up.

Responsibilities include implementing equipment procurements, creating documentation, and providing training while coordinating with shop floor and leadership teams. Strong CNC, CAD, GD&T, SPC skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • 8-15 years related experience.
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Temporary visa holders and individuals who need sponsorship now or in the future are not eligible for hire.
  • Must be able to drive a personal vehicle for company business less than 20% per week and/or travel locally between company locations during scheduled workdays.
  • Good communication skills among shop floor, support staff, and plant leadership.
  • Ability to lead and execute small teams and projects.
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical skills and training such as CNC programming, CAD layout, GD&T, process capability theory and SPC may be required.

  • Develop reports, project briefings, and management presentations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
