Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is helping a global manufacturer of commercial equipment recruit a Manufacturing Engineer to support Manufacturing, Operations and Quality in a low-volume, high-mix setting in Central Michigan. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with manufacturing engineering experience, knowledge of Lean and root-cause analysis, and strong communication and problem solving skills.

Project management experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and root cause analysis

Responsibilities

• Improve manufacturing processes, quality, and productivity.
• Lead continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Support new product launches and process development.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams.
