Qualifications

Manufacturing Engineer

Greater Howell, Michigan Area

We are partnering with a growing automotive manufacturing organization seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support machining operations, process optimization, and new program launches within a high-volume production environment.

This is a hands-on engineering role with strong exposure to CNC machining, process development, APQP activities, tooling coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and optimize machining/manufacturing processes
• Lead and support new program launches
• Develop and maintain FMEA and Control Plans
• Troubleshoot production and process-related issues
• Coordinate with tooling, quality, suppliers, and operations teams
• Support continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives
• Assist with process documentation and production planning

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience within CNC machining
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, fixtures, and GD&T
• Experience with APQP/core quality tools
• Familiarity with M & G code programming
• AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks exposure preferred
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
