Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Government Training Engineering) to join the HDMO team in Oklahoma City, OK. The role supports design and manufacturing efforts for programs including E-3, E-7, KC-46, and B-52.

Focus areas include manufacturability reviews, data packaging, and developing manufacturing plans. The candidate will collaborate with multiple engineering teams, lead under supervision to ensure timely delivery, and may advance toward lead responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 3+ years of experience with a GOLD Uniface/GOLDesp application computing system
• 3+ years of experience generating/approving work instructions, work orders, planning documents
• 3+ years of experience in Production Engineering, Structures Design and/or Analytical Engineering or a combination of these experiences

Responsibilities

• Reviewing drawings, models, specifications, and other technical documentation to ensure manufacturability of spare parts
• Building technical data packages for use by suppliers
• Developing and implementing manufacturing plans
• Analyzing design and build concepts to evaluate a producible definition and investigate alternative solutions to meet producibility requirements
• Resolving technical problems that would significantly affect performance, cost or schedule
• Consult and coordinate with other engineering teams across multiple platforms and disciplines
• Drive team performance by working under supervision to support timely delivery of spare parts and proposals
