Job summary

Valcor Engineering is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in New Jersey to design, manufacture, inspect, and validate fixtures for manufacturing and test. You will develop new processes, lead cross functional teams, and manage changes to drawings and ECOs.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, fixture design experience, and proficiency with SolidWorks. Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or technical equivalent.
• Experience with fixture design and manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean tools; ability to apply them.

Responsibilities

• Design, draw, manufacture, inspect, and validate fixtures for manufacturing and test.
• Develop and improve manufacturing, assembly, and test processes and cells.
• Lead or support cross functional teams and problem solving to address quality issues.
• Review ECOs and changes to drawings, documents, and processes; ensure manufacturability and standardization.
• Create and revise assembly procedures, work instructions, and part protection procedures.
