Job summary

Ford is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer, Final Assembly to lead the development, design, and installation of production tooling for new F-150 program launches. You will drive tooling strategy from concept to implementation, collaborating with manufacturing engineering, quality, and program management to ensure seamless integration into production within aggressive timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• 1+ years' experience in a Manufacturing Engineering environment.
• Knowledge of lean operating system; familiar with Kaizen principles.
• Familiar with manufacturing environment.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Release engineering designs for manufacturing feasibility.
• Conduct manufacturing feasibility studies for the program.
• Interface with plant teams to identify space for new tooling and equipment.
• Lead cycle line layout meetings and determine assembly sequence.
• Lead simulations for tooling and design prove-out.
• Develop tooling SOWs, process RFQs, and supplier POs.
