Job summary

Keel in Ladson, SC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support design-to-manufacture processes for steel fabrication and assembly.

You will help develop work packages, use CAD tools, and collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to improve efficiency and safety on the shop floor. This role offers growth, cross‑functional exposure, and hands‑on training in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology is required.
• 1+ years of related experience in engineering or manufacturing.
• Basic experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Strong organization and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing work packages defining operation sequences and product structures in ERP.
• Support manufacturing engineering activities with fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.
• Use CAD software to create or modify drawings and help with fixture or tooling designs.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to support projects.
• Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing issues and implementing process improvements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
• Travel between facilities as needed.
• Participate in training and development opportunities.
