Kovoro, a growing contract manufacturer and OEM with facilities across the Carolinas, seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer to define and optimize production processes across fabrication, assembly, and test cells.
You will develop work instructions and PFMEAs, lead root-cause analysis for quality escapes, support NPI from design review through production launch, and drive kaizen and Lean projects to reduce cycle time and scrap.
Our client is a growing contract manufacturer and OEM supplier with facilities across the Carolinas, producing electromechanical assemblies, custom enclosures, and power distribution components for the utility, EV infrastructure, and industrial automation sectors. Their Charlotte plant recently underwent a $15M capital investment in laser cutting, robotic welding, and automated press brake technology.
As Manufacturing Process Engineer you will be responsible for defining and optimizing production processes across fabrication, assembly, and test cells. Core responsibilities include developing work instructions and process FMEAs, leading root cause analysis and corrective action for quality escapes, supporting new product introduction (NPI) from design review through production launch, and identifying and executing kaizen and Lean improvement projects to reduce cycle time and scrap.
You will work cross-functionally with design engineering, quality, supply chain, and production leadership, and will have direct influence over capital investment justifications and equipment selection.
