Job summary

AAA USA is actively hiring experienced Manufacturing Engineers to support aerospace, defense, transportation, industrial, and advanced manufacturing programs nationwide. You will work directly with production teams to improve manufacturing methods, solve build issues, optimize processes, and support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives.

The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day process improvements and collaborate with senior leadership when needed, with opportunities to work on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in aerospace or complex assembly.
• Strong CAD proficiency and ability to read engineering drawings with GD&T ASME Y14.5.
• Experience with DFM analysis and manufacturing documentation, or willingness to build it.
• ERP experience such as Epicor or SAP with eBOM/mBOM reconciliation and routings.

Responsibilities

• Work with mechanics, technicians, and production personnel to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Improve manufacturing methods, processes, ergonomics, and production flow.
• Analyze build sequences and develop efficient, repeatable processes.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing drawings, models, and work instructions.
• Ensure traceability to engineering requirements and configuration control.
• Perform DFM analysis and propose design or process improvements.
• Present engineering recommendations to Design Engineering and leadership.
• Support initiatives to reduce labor hours, costs, and cycle time.
• Assist with ERP alignment, eBOM/mBOM reconciliation, and routings.
