The role requires hands-on engineering in a manufacturing environment with experience in tooling, forming, and CNC programming. Strong collaboration with shop and materials teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with tooling design.
• Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PTC Creo, and Mastercam.
• At least one year of experience with resistance welding.
• Experience with hot and cold forming, heat treatment, precision machining, and CNC machine programming.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze data for cost structures and BOMs.
• Create and maintain BOMs and routings in BPCS.
• Develop engineering policies for ECNs and product development.
• Provide design support that aligns with cost-effective manufacturing.
• Collaborate with shop teams to resolve production issues.
• Review installations for ergonomic best practices.
