Job summary

Leidos is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer (ME) to join our Platform Integration Facility in Huntsville, AL. This role supports a critical air defense program and collaborates with manufacturing product lines to define work content, CONOPS, facility layout, and material flow.

You will work with stakeholders to ensure production readiness, maintain work instructions, support tooling, and drive continuous improvement using Lean principles.

Qualifications

• BS in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience, or MS in technical or business discipline.
• Experience providing engineering support to manufacturing operations.
• Resident in North Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville-North Alabama area.
• Must be a US Citizen with Final Secret Clearance or eligible for Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal stakeholders.
• Author and maintain manufacturing work instructions.
• Support equipment/tooling maintenance.
• Identify and lead improvement initiatives.
• Support production readiness gate reviews.
• Provide general support to production floor.
