Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Industrial Engineering or Industrial and Systems Engineering with at least 2 years of experience.
• Master's degree in a technical or business discipline with a BS in IE/IS Eng and less than 2 years experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD; able to create and analyze data for manufacturing plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform capacity planning analyses and support Make vs. Buy decisions.
• Develop process flows and roadmaps using simulation inputs from Manufacturing Team.
• Design work center layouts prioritizing safety and on-time delivery.
• Identify and implement Lean improvements and root-cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain facility layouts in AutoCAD.
• Create production constraint visuals and metrics to reduce production span time.
• Support development of standard processes for IE team across sites.
• Measure plant and equipment capability and identify bottlenecks.
• Conduct machine capacity analyses to improve efficiency.
• Participate in Lean Improvement Events and related workshops.
• Collaborate with quality and production to resolve defects and ensure product quality.
• Analyze systems to identify value-added vs non-value-added activities.
