Google LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive design for manufacturing across new hardware concepts. You will work with the Technical Infrastructure team to ensure scalable manufacturing, quality, and lifecycle support for data center or consumer hardware programs.

The role emphasizes process capability, DOE-style validation, supplier collaboration, and relentless pursuit of production efficiency within a fast-paced tech environment in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience working in Manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Lead design for manufacturing feasibility reports during concept readiness to resolve red flag features before design freeze.
• Validate mass production readiness through run-at-rate validation reports and line balancing charts.
• Conduct vendor capability assessments and factory readiness gap analyses to ensure supply chain maturity.
• Perform process FMEA (RPN targets) and conduct pareto/root-cause analyses for manufacturing issues.
• Develop process flow diagrams and material presentation plans to optimize factory logistics.
