Job Summary

Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with Controls/Electrical Engineering experience to support new vehicle and component launch programs. The role involves manufacturing process development, tooling implementation, launch support, and cross-functional collaboration in automotive manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing launch activities for new vehicle programs.
• Lead tooling installation, startup, commissioning, and issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and manufacturing layouts.
• Collaborate with Product Development to improve quality, efficiency, and manufacturability.
• Track project timelines and drive launch readiness.
• Support assembly plants and supplier locations as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred).
• Automotive Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Controls engineering experience required.
• Experience with automotive assembly, machining, tooling, or manufacturing processes.
• Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CAD review tools (CATIA, Teamcenter, VisMockup, etc.).
• Ability to travel extensively and work onsite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of PFMEA, GD&T, control charts, and manufacturing quality tools.
• Experience with automotive systems such as Electrical, Powertrain, Chassis, Battery Assembly, or Machining.
• Familiarity with Ford systems such as Teamcenter, WERS, AVBOM, AIM, and GSPAS/APT.
