Job summary

Magna Steyr seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production lines in a dynamic automotive environment. You will define and manage change processes, coordinate fixtures, and program Atlas Copco tools for improved efficiency and quality.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in manufacturing, strong problem-solving (5 Why), and solid CAD/MES experience. This on-site role offers growth and exposure to global projects within Magna Steyr.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive/Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering is required.
• 3-5 years of Automotive industry experience in a production environment.
• Master’s degree is a plus for the preferred candidate.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead line setup, station readiness, and equipment installations for future projects.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and perform root cause analyses.
