Job summary

Entegris in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op for the Spring 2027 season. This fulltime, six-month assignment offers hands-on experience in improving manufacturing processes across multiple areas including planning, tooling, injection molding, secondary operations, and assembly.

You will partner with production teams to standardize startup/shutdown procedures, create user-friendly work instructions for automated equipment, and support operator training and process

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled student
• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) January through June
• Familiar with the university’s co-op requirements

The Role:

Our site in Colorado Springs, CO - Rockrimmon is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season.

This assignment is intended to be fulltime, 6 months in duration.

What You’ll Do:

• Gain hands-on experience evaluating and improving manufacturing processes across multiple production areas, including planning, tooling, injection molding, secondary operations, and assembly.
• Partner with manufacturing and production teams to develop and standardize injection molding startup and shutdown procedures that support safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Create clear, user-friendly work instructions and visual documentation for automated equipment and machine interfaces to support operator training and process reliability.

What We Seek:

• Strong communicator, effective communicating amongst others
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles (coursework included)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:

• Mechanical, industrial, and manufacturing engineering, graduation date in 2027 or Spring 2028

Eligibility:

• Must be a currently enrolled student
• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
• Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program
