Job summary

AccuRounds, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer specialized in CNC machining and process development to support production of high-precision components.

  • Promote and support all safety, health and wellbeing practices, policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to own learning and development of the role and future growth opportunities.
  • Performs other job duties as required.

Manufacturing Engineer-CNC Machining & Process Development
POSITION SUMMARY

Hands-on resource to support and assist operations in the execution of work orders for custom, high-precision components. Establish stable processes that are measurable, reliable and repeatable to fulfill customer requirements. Collaborate with other functional areas for operational excellence and continuous improvements to enhance productivity, reduce cycle times and increase machine utilization.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, troubleshoot, optimize and prove-out efficient machining processes
  • Develop lights-out machining strategies, implementing automation to maximize unattended run time
  • Collaborate with machinists to Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, tooling and cycle times
  • Decipher program operation, update/change program and create part program from print
  • Contribute to the quoting process
  • Promote and support all safety, health and wellbeing practices, policies and procedures
  • Contribute to own learning and development of the role and future growth opportunities
  • Performs other job duties as required
ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Create and refine multi-axis CNC programs for Swiss Screw and Lathe, Fanuc control functions
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, GD&T, CNC Tooling and high-precision machining strategies
  • Robust troubleshooting skills related to machine performance, part accuracy and process optimization
  • Knowledge of metrology and dimensional inspection methods
  • High attention to detail and a results-driven mindset
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing engineering degree, related discipline or equivalent manufacturing experience
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
    (A U.S. Person includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders), and certain protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Standing for extended periods, walk, push and pull < 40 lbs.
  • Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
