Job Title

Manufacturing Engineer - Clinical Integration & Insights (CI&I) Logistics (Columbus, OH)

Job Description

As Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the Partners Management & Manufacturing team (PM&M), responsible for monitoring the Clinical Integration and Insights (CI&I) Business Unit’s contractors. Your focus will be on operations within the Third Party Logistics (3PL) platform, building hardware parts and systems delivered to customers.

Your role
  1. Lead Design Transfer activities (or New Product Industrialization - NPI) for all CI&I hardware projects, collaborating with R&D in Paris and 3PL staff, ensuring proper completion and documentation.
  2. Monitor 3PL operations daily, with on-site presence, ensuring products are built according to procedures from receipt of parts to shipment.
  3. Participate in defining, developing, verifying, installing, validating, and maintaining manufacturing equipment in the warehouse.
  4. Provide operational KPIs, support non-conformity investigations, and participate in RMA/Refurbishing management.
  5. Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain teams on S&OP and CCB meetings, and with QA, Procurement, and Supply Chain on QBR preparations.
You're the right fit if:
  1. You hold a B.S. in Mechanical, Biomedical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with 2+ years of manufacturing/industrialization experience, preferably with Capsule/CI&I.
  2. You have strong project management skills and are comfortable working in the field with contractors.
  3. You possess excellent communication skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and stakeholder engagement.
  4. You can work in compliance with industry standards (FDA 21 CFR part 820, ISO 13485).
  5. You can meet physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements, with or without accommodations.
How we work together

We believe in collaboration. Office-based teams work in-person at least 3 days a week. Onsite roles require full-time presence at company facilities. Field roles are typically outside the main facilities, at customer or supplier locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in OH is $67,500 to $108,000 per year, with actual offers based on experience, skills, and location. Additional benefits include bonuses, stock plans, PTO, 401k, HSA, education reimbursement, and more. Details are available here.
