Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer - Clinical Integration & Insights (CI&I) Logistics (Columbus, OH)

Job Description: As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the Partners Management & Manufacturing team (PM&M), responsible for monitoring the Clinical Integration and Insights (CI&I) Business Unit’s contractors. Your focus will be on operations within the Third Party Logistics (3PL) platform, building hardware parts and systems delivered to customers.

Your role includes:

  1. Leading Design Transfer activities (or New Product Industrialization - NPI) for all CI&I hardware projects, including maintenance and providing evidence of successful completion, in collaboration with R&D in Paris and 3PL staff.
  2. Monitoring 3PL operations daily, ensuring products are built according to procedures and protocols, from reception of parts to shipment, with a strong onsite presence.
  3. Participating in the definition, development, verification, installation, validation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment needed in the warehouse.
  4. Providing operations Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), supporting non-conformity investigations, and managing RMA / Refurbishing processes.
  5. Collaborating with Procurement and Supply Chain teams on Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Change Control Board (CCB) meetings, and preparing for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Mechanical, Biomedical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, or related field, with 2+ years of Industrialization/Manufacturing engineering experience. Experience with Capsule/CI&I is highly preferred.
  • Strong Project Management skills and willingness to work in the field and collaborate with contractors.
  • Excellent communication skills, proactive problem identification, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Ability to work in compliance with industry standards (FDA 21 CFR part 820, ISO 13485).
  • Ability to meet physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodations.

Work Environment: This is an office-based role requiring onsite presence at least 3 days per week. Field roles are typically outside the main facilities, at customer or supplier locations.

Compensation & Benefits: The pay range in Ohio is $67,500 to $108,000 annually, with additional benefits including bonuses, stock plans, 401k, HSA, education reimbursement, and more. Details are available on our website.
