Manufacturing Engineer - Clinical Integration & Insights (CI&I) Logistics (Columbus, OH)

Job Description
As Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the Partners Management & Manufacturing team (PM&M), responsible for monitoring the Clinical Integration and Insights (CI&I) Business Unit’s contractors. You will focus on operations within the Third Party Logistics (3PL) platform to build hardware parts and systems delivered to customers.

Your role

  • Lead Design Transfer activities (or New Product Industrialization - NPI) for all CI&I hardware projects, collaborating with R&D in Paris and 3PL staff, ensuring successful completion and maintenance.
  • Monitor 3PL operations daily, with on-site presence, ensuring products are built according to approved procedures and protocols, from reception of parts to shipment.
  • Participate in defining, developing, verifying, installing, validating, and maintaining manufacturing equipment in the warehouse.
  • Provide operations KPIs, support non-conformity investigations, follow up on issues, and participate in RMA/Refurbishing management.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain teams on S&OP and CCB preparations and meetings, as well as with Quality Assurance on QBRs.

You're The Right Fit If

  • You hold a B.S. in Mechanical, Biomedical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering or a related field, with 2+ years of industrialization/manufacturing experience. Experience with Capsule/CI&I is highly preferred.
  • You possess strong project management skills and are comfortable on the field working with contractors.
  • You have excellent communication skills, can present ideas clearly, are proactive, and can identify problems and suggest solutions.
  • You can work in compliance with industry standards (FDA 21 CFR part 820, ISO 13485).
  • You can perform the minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodations.

How We Work Together

We believe that we are better together. For office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days a week. Onsite roles require full-time presence at company facilities. Field roles are often outside main facilities, at customer or supplier locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in OH is $67,500 to $108,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, and other factors. Additional compensation such as bonuses, stock plans, and benefits are offered. Details are available on our benefits page.

Employment is contingent on US work authorization. Sponsorship is not provided. Company relocation benefits are not included.
