Job summary

ZF Foxconn Chassis Modules (ZFFCN) in Tuscaloosa, AL, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to shape assembly concepts for chassis module systems and support production-area acquisition projects. You will prepare RFQs, manage integration, and assist launch and commissioning of new equipment.

The role requires a mechanical/manufacturing engineering degree and 2+ years in manufacturing, with CAD/SAP proficiency. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
2+ years of manufacturing experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, CAD, and SAP.
Good time management and prioritizing skills.

Responsibilities

Develop assembly concepts considering chassis module systems.
Support in acquisition projects for the production area.
Prepare RFQ for equipment suppliers and manage integration.
Launch and commission new assembly equipment and products.
Prepare PFMEAs, value stream & standard work instructions.
Liaise with the customer for interpretation and development of new solutions.
Analyze workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and layout for maximum efficiency.
Determine product specifications for equipment purchases.
