Job summary

FOX Factory seeks a Systems Integration Engineer for OE automotive development within the Software Electronics Team. The role focuses on integrating chassis control systems, designing sensors, data acquisition, wiring schematics and electrical architectures for FOX markets including automobiles and off-road vehicles.

You will lead bring-up, troubleshoot and validate hardware and embedded software. The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering, 3–5 years in automotive or industrial mobile machines,

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive or related engineering field; 3–5 years in automotive/industrial mobile machinery.
• Hands-on system integration experience.
• Experience solving vehicle ECU/sensor/communication issues.
• Understand control logic and verify ECU inputs/outputs.
• Knowledge of CAN, CAN FD, LIN, PSI5, FlexRay; CANalyzer/Vehicle Spy tools.
• CAN Bus network architecture and physical layer rules.
• Experience with ECU flashing tools (vFlash).
• Strong technical communication and cross‑functional teamwork.
• Ability to derive system requirements from cross‑functional teams.
• Create bring-up procedures, wiring diagrams and installation guides; document system architecture.
• Attention to detail; continuous improvement mindset.
• Basic programming in Python, C/C++, MATLAB.
• Able to work with electrical test benches and basic wire-working.

Responsibilities

• Lead system bring-up, troubleshoot and validate control systems.
• Design and implement sensors, data acquisition equipment, and electrical architectures for chassis control.
• Develop wiring diagrams and installation guides; document overall system architecture.
• Create system block diagrams and maintain cross-functional system requirements.
• Collaborate with PVG teams across hardware, software and product planning.
