ZF Foxconn Chassis Modules (ZFFCN) in Tuscaloosa, AL, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to shape assembly concepts for chassis module systems and support production-area acquisition projects. You will prepare RFQs, manage integration, and assist launch and commissioning of new equipment.

The role requires a mechanical/manufacturing engineering degree and 2+ years in manufacturing, with CAD/SAP proficiency. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, CAD, and SAP.
• Good time management and prioritizing skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop assembly concepts considering chassis module systems.
• Support in acquisition projects for the production area.
• Prepare RFQ for equipment suppliers and manage integration.
• Launch and commission new assembly equipment and products.
• Prepare PFMEAs, value stream & standard work instructions.
• Liaise with the customer for interpretation and development of new solutions.
• Analyze workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and layout for maximum efficiency.
• Determine product specifications for equipment purchases.
