Job summary

Divergent is hiring a manufacturing engineer to scale our internally developed capital equipment, including laser powder bed fusion systems and automated assembly assets. You will own the transition from concept to production, driving manufacturability improvements and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1+ years (Engineer II), 5+ years (Senior) or 7+ years (Staff) of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ownership of complex areas.
• Strong experience in technical troubleshooting and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing readiness from development through production handoff.
• Lead development of clear work instructions, SOPs, and test procedures.
• Drive troubleshooting, RCCA, and corrective actions to improve uptime and quality.
