Orscheln Products in Missouri seeks an engineer to design tooling and coordinate development of fixtures and processes for manufacturing Orscheln products. You will work on CAD 2-D/3-D modeling, define routings, and support production launches with hands-on tooling expertise.

The role requires a BS degree (BSME/BSIE or two-year technical degree) and at least three years of engineering support experience. You will analyze capacity, drive continuous improvement, and mentor operators while ensuring

• Minimum three (3) years work experience in engineering support field.
• BSME, BSIE or two-year technical degree.
• Proficient in CAD 2-D and 3-D modeling.
• Develop tooling, capital equipment, gauge and fixturing requirements for new products.
• Review production capacity.
• Define process capability through measurement, verification, process studies, documentation and statistical methods.
• Support continuous improvement team activities.

Responsabilités

• Develop tooling, capital equipment, gauge and fixturing requirements for new products.
• Proficient in Design using CAD 2-D and 3-D modeling.
• Develop manufacturing routings.
• Execute typical administrative procedures (i.e.: stock requisitions, RFQ’s, ECR’s, ECN’s).
• Review production capacity
• Define process capability through measurement, verification, process studies, documentation and statistical methods.
• Support continuous improvement team activities.
• Manage the areas of Orscheln business as assigned.
• Troubleshoot tool, equipment and process issues
• Develop and implement error proofing
• Assist with operator training as required
• Develop job instruction sheets
