Job summary

Menasha Corporation seeks a manufacturing engineer to coordinate the Mold Shop, implement process technology, and drive efficiency across its packaging and ORBIS businesses. You will focus on minimizing variation, reducing costs, and improving product quality through automation and capital improvements.

The role calls for a Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical or manufacturing engineering and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with PLC exposure as a plus in a dynamic manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience using automation to improve process and flow.
• Programmable logic controller experience.
• Desirable 3–5 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the Mold Shop personnel and ensure metrics are met.
• Develop and implement process technology to minimize variation and optimize manufacturing while reducing costs.
• Maximize efficiency by analyzing equipment layout, workflow, and workforce utilization.
• Support technical teams in root cause analysis for equipment downtime.
• Provide technical skill and judgment related to product quality.
• Provide input and support in advancement of equipment and tools.
• Manage/lead plant capital improvement projects.
• Other duties as assigned

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in industrial, mechanical or manufacturing engineering

Tools

Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) experience
