Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the Large Wideband Satellite Communications Terminal program. You will work on high‑performance hardware, CCAs, and racks, driving continuous improvement in automated manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher with relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
Strong background in manufacturing principles, tools, and processes.
Experience leading large-scale improvement initiatives with minimal oversight.
Ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and program management.

Responsibilities

Develops, implements, analyzes, and improves manufacturing plans, projects, processes, and systems.
Utilizes Earned Value Management (EVM) to analyze budget performance and forecast metrics.
Defines and transfers manufacturing tools, strategies, methods, and systems into production.
Leads initiatives to improve producibility, quality, efficiency, and cost.
Coordinates with cross-functional teams to release new products into manufacturing.
