Neapco seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to plan and implement methods, procedures, and processes for world-class parts at our Beatrice, Nebraska facility. You will lead capital equipment projects, schedule tasks, and partner with design and production to prototype parts and optimize tooling and processes.

The role requires CNC programming experience, knowledge of GD&T/DOE, and a solid background in manufacturing automation.

Formación

• Knowledge of methods to produce precision machined components.
• Experience in operation and programming of CNC centers, lathes, grinders.
• Knowledge of welding, heat treating, broaching, and packaging.
• Experience in commissioning production equipment.
• Ability to justify capital equipment acquisitions.
• Experience in equipment acquisition project management, installation, qualifications, validations.
• Experience in process automation and robotics integration.
• Ability to design, fabricate, assemble, and install jigs and fixtures.
• Knowledge of 5S, GD&T, DOE, 8D, SPC, APQP, FMEA, and Control Plans.

Responsabilidades

• Lead capital equipment specifications, installation, and qualification.
• Manage project scheduling to ensure on-time completion.
• Conduct engineering study reports.
• Perform statistical analysis of data.
• Investigate new processing technologies and proposals for improvements.
• Propose cost savings projects to boost productivity.
• Coordinate with design to produce prototypes and samples.
• Coordinate with production to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Conduct time studies; modify CNC programs as needed.
