Job summary

Our client in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Manufacturing Engineer with extensive aseptic bottling and packaging experience to drive reliability, efficiency and cost reductions. You will lead data-driven projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The role requires mentoring junior engineers and ensuring GMP/compliance while optimizing throughput and maintenance effectiveness in a high-speed packaging environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 7–10 years in a production manufacturing facility with emphasis on OEE and process improvements.
• Hands-on leader with project management experience.
• Experience in a food grade environment (FDA, GMP, HACCP) with high-speed packaging equipment preferred.
• Strong automation/controls knowledge (PLC, DCS).
• Experience with lean and Six Sigma tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead projects focused on reliability and machine efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis and data-driven improvements to reduce cost and increase capacity.
• Mentor and train junior engineers and cross-functional teams.
