Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to own the Fury product area’s manufacturing from prototype through rate. You will develop tooling, craft process flows, and document builds for aircraft-class structural and electromechanical hardware.

You will collaborate with contract manufacturers, improve manufacturability, and hands-on build prototype hardware with technicians, addressing floor issues as they arise. U.S. Secret clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering or equivalent hands-on build experience.
• BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience.
• ME fundamentals across drawings and GD&T, DFM, work instructions, tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own a portion of the manufacturing value chain from prototype through rate.
• Develop tooling for fabrication and assembly of structural parts.
• Develop process flows breaking complex assemblies into subassemblies and sub-processes.
• Author build documentation including work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements.
• Work with contract manufacturers across PCBA fabrication, metallic manufacturing, and assembly to develop repeatable processes.
• Build prototype hardware hands-on with technicians and engineers and resolve floor issues.
