Job summary

NPAworldwide seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to develop and improve processes for aerospace-grade components and precision-machined products. You will own projects from concept through launch, including process development, data analysis, fixture and tooling design, CNC support, prototypes, CAPEX, automation, and production start.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and 3+ years of hands-on experience.

Our client is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to develop and improve processes for aerospace-grade components and precision-machined products.
This person will own projects from problem identification through implementation, including process development, data analysis, fixture and tooling design, CNC support, prototypes, Cpk studies, BOM and router updates, CAPEX, automation improvements, and production launch.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered.
• Three or more years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience.
• GD&T, CAD, fixture and tooling design, and CNC machining exposure.
• Experience with Cpk, process development, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to manage projects independently from concept through launch.
  

Aerospace, precision machining, composites, AS9100, NPI, Minitab, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, and 5S experience are preferred.
Candidates from small to midsize aerospace, automotive, or machining companies are especially relevant. Compensation may exceed the stated range for someone who can step in and contribute immediately.
