Job summary

Hana Technologies Inc. in Solon, Ohio, is seeking a Process Engineer to develop and improve manufacturing processes in a fast-paced electronics assembly environment.

You will help meet product quality, quantity, and cost targets by applying advanced manufacturing techniques, evaluating new equipment, and supporting sales with technical guidance. Strong CAD skills and automation experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical) or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing assembly environment.
• Experience programming automated production equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review new product designs for manufacturability.
• Evaluate, purchase, install & qualify new production equipment.
• Work with customers and/or vendors on process transfers.
• Program automated equipment (SMT, Ovens, FlipChip, Dispense systems, etc.).
• Propose changes for cost savings, yield, & productivity improvements.
• Research latest technologies in relation to capability improvements.
• Train manufacturing personnel on assembly procedures.
• Provide technical support to sales & marketing teams for change requests.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of basic engineering fundamentals
• Familiarity with machine vision systems & robotics
• Experience with basic quality tools
• Proficient in CAD systems (AutoCAD or SolidWorks)

• Ability to work in a Cleanroom, Class 100-10,000
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Superior organization and problem-solving skills
