Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to define and control production processes, tooling, and equipment on site in Bangor, Maine. You will develop manufacturing methods to meet safety, delivery, quality, and cost goals while aligning with Lean initiatives and NPI support.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering (or 4+ years in manufacturing/ops) and the ability to work 2nd shift. Eligible for discretionary bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 4+ years manufacturing/operations experience.
Must be authorized to work in the USA and able to work 100% onsite in Bangor, ME.
Experience with Lean manufacturing and NC programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

Define and control production process including tooling and equipment. Validate design specs and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment.
Develop and maintain manufacturing methods to support SQDC priorities (safety, quality, delivery, cost).
Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
Understand key business drivers and how your work integrates with other teams.
Propose solutions beyond set parameters with guidance; use internal sources to arrive at decisions.
Participate in monthly Lean Kaizen events to support the Lean Roadmap.
Support New Product Introduction and CNC processes.
